Project Objectives
This project was created for Dona Sancha to introduce their new wine, Dona Sancha Tinta Pinheira, through a video that felt elegant, timeless, and emotionally connected to place.
The objective was to create more than a simple wine product video. The goal was to showcase the character of the wine through mood, atmosphere, and symbolism — connecting the deep Bordeaux red tones of the wine with the iconic setting of Quinta das Lágrimas.
A wine with presence needed a video with presence. Something refined, intimate, and memorable.
Content Planning
The project began with a creative brainstorm together with the client, where we explored the direction, visual language, and feeling the video should carry.
From the start, the creative concept was built around the connection between wine notes and piano notes. The video plays with this parallel: the elegance of a wine being discovered, and the emotion of music being performed.
The wine becomes almost like a composition — layered, expressive, and full of character. The piano brings rhythm and emotion, while the wine brings texture, depth, and identity.
The visual direction leaned into contrast, rich red tones, warm shadows, elegant framing, and a timeless atmosphere. The goal was to make the video feel iconic without becoming heavy or overly formal.
Production
The production took place at Quinta das Lágrimas, a location with strong cultural and visual identity, making it the perfect setting to reinforce the premium and timeless character of the wine.
Due to limitations defined by the venue, the entire video had to be filmed within two hours. This meant every creative and technical decision had to be sharp, intentional, and efficient.
The shoot focused on capturing the elegance of the product, the atmosphere of the space, and the connection between the wine and the piano. Every frame was designed to support the refined mood of the piece while keeping the production focused and controlled under a very tight schedule.
Post-Production
In post-production, the edit was shaped to feel smooth, elegant, and atmospheric.
The pacing followed the emotional rhythm of the concept, allowing the wine and piano to feel connected through movement, sound, and visual detail. The color grading enhanced the contrast and the Bordeaux tones associated with the wine, giving the final video a rich, polished, and premium feel.
The final edit balanced product beauty, location atmosphere, and musical emotion, creating a video that felt less like a standard product reveal and more like a sensory brand piece.

The final video introduced Dona Sancha Tinta Pinheira as an elegant and iconic wine connected to an equally iconic place.
By combining wine, music, and the atmosphere of Quinta das Lágrimas, the video positioned the product with sophistication, emotion, and strong visual identity — showing the wine not only as something to taste, but as something to experience.
